Classic Crow ooh, a cheetoh

On a rainy day in the latter half of June 2007, the former members of the wildly successful electro band We The Jen, decided to abandon music in favor of an actual creative outlet. Having heard about something called the internets, and hoping that it would one day take-off, the band mates decided to redirect their energies to the production of a new millennium, interactive, multi-media experience in the form of a something called a website.

It is difficult to quantify what exactly Classic Crow is. It’s much easier to describe what Classic Crow it is not. Classic Crow is not a blog. Serialized content is for assholes. Classic Crow is not a fan of Sting, U2, Dave Matthews, or Hootey. Nothing against Counting Crows or Savage Garden. We'll be your wish. We'll be your hope. We'll be your fantasy.

Classic Crow does not feel the need to categorize itself, because it feels that labels are damaging to our society. If Classic Crow had a child, it would give the child a unisex name like Sam and not refer to it with gender-specific pronouns, because Classic Crow would respect the child’s privacy and its right to self-identify with gender roles.

Classic Crow intends to return irreverence, poorly supported accusations, and libel to its rightful place at the top of the internet food pyramid. Classic Crow respects individual freedoms and strives to uphold first amendment rights whenever possible, with the possible exception of hate speech and earnest expressions of artistic integrity.

Classic Crow is dedicated 60/40 to the memories of Lisa left Eye Lopez and Aaliyah respectively, because while Classic Crow misses both artists very much, Aaliyah never done burned down the house.
